Wafer Type NRV

A Wafer Type Check Valve (Single Disc) is a slim, lightweight non-return valve designed to fit between two pipe flanges. Unlike the standard "Swing Check Valve" which is bulky and has its own flanges, the Wafer type is extremely thin and is clamped between the pipeline flanges using long bolts.

It features a single disc that swings open when fluid flows and closes immediately when flow stops to prevent backflow. Because of its short face-to-face length, it is an excellent space-saving solution for cramped boiler rooms, HVAC systems, and water distribution lines.
