NRV Dual Plate

A Dual Plate Check Valve (also known as a Dual Plate NRV) is a compact non-return valve that automatically prevents the backflow of liquid or gas. Unlike a traditional "Swing Check Valve," which is heavy and bulky, the Dual Plate valve uses two spring-loaded half-moon plates that fit within a single valve body.
When the flow starts, the plates open; when the flow stops, the springs force the plates to close immediately—before the reverse flow begins. This unique mechanism effectively eliminates "Water Hammer" (the banging noise and vibration in pipes), making it the preferred choice for high-rise buildings, pumping stations, and industrial pipelines.
