Knife Edge Gate Valve

A Knife Edge Gate Valve is a specialized specialized linear shut-off valve designed to handle thick, viscous, and abrasive fluids that would clog normal valves. It features a sharp, beveled "knife-like" gate that cuts through heavy media like slurry, pulp, powder, and sludge to ensure a tight seal.
Unlike standard gate valves, the Knife Gate has a thin profile and no bottom cavity where solids can get trapped. It is the industry standard for difficult applications in Paper & Pulp mills, Wastewater Treatment Plants (ETP/STP), Mining, and Cement industries where solids and semi-solids need to be isolated.
